Raleigh, NC — (August 19, 2016) — Four NC companies have linked up for full out speed and bragging rights at NASCAR. Creative Allies – a global crowd-sourcing design platform; Boone-based arena football team and primary sponsor, the High Country Grizzlies; Gryppers – an innovative sports technology producer; and Walk West – a digital creative and marketing agency, have aligned as sponsors of Make Motorsports driver, #10, Cody McMahan, who debuted in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on Wednesday, August 17, at 8:30 PM; and is set to drive car number 50, in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Experience on Friday, August 19, at 7:30 PM, at The Bristol Motor Speedway, at 151 Speedway Blvd., in Bristol, TN.
These North Carolina based companies, affiliated through entrepreneur and investor Donald Thompson, found this a perfect opportunity to engage with race lovers, fans and friends of a beloved sport. “Football fans and racing fans are synonymous, they carry the same level of devotion and grit and they are fiercely loyal. The chance to sponsor a driver who has already garnered Rookie-of-the-Year recognition for four wins in the Charger division of the ASA Late Model Series is proof positive that supporting this regionally-connected talent is the right move.” noted Thompson, Grizzlies owner and CEO of Creative Allies. “Backing McMahan allows for increased brand exposure and brings us closer to our fans, allowing them to get to know the Grizzlies and and these incredible brands.” As if just attending the race isn’t exciting enough, a photo shoot will take place with McMahan, his number 10 Chevrolet Silverado, and fans can snag the chance to meet and mingle with sponsorship staff from the Grizzlies, Walk West and Creative Allies.
On Wednesday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, McMahan and his competitors accelerated 200 laps (106.6 miles); for today’s Xfinity race he will add an additional 100 laps (159.9 miles). Live race coverage can be heard on MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Channel 90.
